We realized this year that we needed a name which better describes our work.

Because we work exclusively with Brosimum alicastrum (the Maya Nut), we decided that our name should reflect that. Because we specialize in training, we liked the term "Institute"

We hope the new name will help to establish us as the world's foremost experts on the Maya Nut. This will facilitate our acting as a clearinghouse for any and all information relating to the Maya Nut. We are certain that this will help us achieve our mission faster and more efficiently through better, stronger alliances and better sharing of all of our open-source information about Maya Nut.
